About Me

Nice to meet you! Although I was originally born on the beautiful island of Oahu, I spent the majority of my childhood moving from state to state, fostering a love of adventure and change from my early development. I have spent the last 10 years in the lively Kansas City, Missouri and it was here where my love for theater began. With every new role, I began to discover my passion for discovering the mind and body of a character. I have found immense joy in quiet table-work, personal research, and conversation to step into the shoes of some gorgeously complex characters such as Kate Keller or Mary Warren. Outside of theatre, I carry a love for reading that has been present in my life since I was a young girl. There is nothing quite like the all consuming and powerful delight I am lucky to have found numerous times, within the spines of my favorite books. I also find joy in music from Fiona Apple to The Beatles, writing poetry and watching movies. I owe everything to my mother who never gave me any doubt that I couldn’t become a woman with dreams and passions that would guide me, as she did, to a fulfilling and bold life. Recently graduating with my BFA in Musical Theatre and minor in English Literature from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin, I am now back in beautiful KCMO.

“We are the music makers,
And we are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers,
And sitting by desolate streams; —
World-losers and world-forsakers,
On whom the pale moon gleams:
Yet we are the movers and shakers
Of the world for ever, it seems.”
